The Toronto Raptors face another challenging night on Friday as Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett will continue to be absent from the team due to personal reasons, as announced by the Raptors on Thursday afternoon. The absence of both players is indefinite as they attend to family matters. Additionally, the Raptors are still without Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, and DJ Carton, all sidelined for the foreseeable future. While there’s no specific timeline for Barnes or Poeltl’s return, they haven’t been officially ruled out for the remainder of the season.

However, there’s a positive note as Jontay Porter, who left Wednesday’s game early due to illness, is not listed on the injury report and is expected to be available as Toronto’s backup center behind Kelly Olynyk. The Raptors, currently on an eight-game losing streak, are facing an uphill battle against the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Anticipate Toronto to maintain an 11-man rotation, with Bruce Brown Jr. likely starting in place of Quickley. The starting lineup is expected to include Gradey Dick, Gary Trent Jr., Ochai Agbaji, and Olynyk. Bench players such as Jahmi’us Ramsey, Javon Freeman-Liberty, Jordan Nwora, and Jalen McDaniels are also likely to see significant playing time.

As for the Thunder, their injury report for Thursday night has not been released yet, but they have been relatively healthy and will aim to extend their lead in the Western Conference standings over the Denver Nuggets.
