The Indianapolis Colts are poised to welcome back several key players from injury, who are expected to assume significant roles in the upcoming 2024 NFL season.

The Indianapolis Colts are gearing up for a playoff push in the 2024 NFL season, led by one of the league’s youngest offenses. Second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson will have some new faces to work with, including rookie wide receivers AD Mitchell and Anthony Gould.

In addition to the fresh talent, the Colts are expecting the return of several players from injury. The team was plagued by season-ending injuries at the start of the 2023 season, revealing depth issues across various positions.

Among those set to make a comeback are three players who could make a significant difference on the field:

3 Under the Radar Colts Returning From Injury in 2024

1. Ashton Dulin, WR: Dulin suffered an ACL tear in August 2023, causing him to miss the entire previous season. Known for his prowess as both a receiver and a standout special teams player, Dulin earned second team All-Pro honors in 2021 for his exceptional performance in special teams tackles.

With his speed and skills, Dulin has the chance to become a vertical threat in head coach Shane Steichen’s offense. As the longest-tenured receiver on the team, he aims to secure a key role before the start of the season in September.

2. Dallis Flowers, CB: Flowers’ promising season was cut short in Week 4 due to an Achilles injury. His absence forced the Colts to rely on an inexperienced Jaylon Jones in his place. While Jones performed adequately, the secondary struggled, conceding over 35 points in three of the four games following Flowers’ injury. Flowers’ return is expected to bolster the defense and restore stability to the secondary.
