Ryley Sanders, a highly sought-after draft pick by the Western Bulldogs, did not react well to being replaced during Friday night’s 29-point loss to Essendon.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who the Dogs selected with Pick 6 in the 2023 AFL Draft, made his tactical substitution debut in round one and amassed 25 disposals.
Since then, he has appeared in every game, but on Friday night, during the Bulldogs’ defeat, he was substituted out.
