Clemson Men’s Basketball enthusiasts were aware that PJ Hall was unlikely to continue with the program next season, though there lingered a sense of optimism. Regrettably, Hall has opted to forego his remaining year of eligibility and pursue entry into the NBA Draft.

A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Hall maintained impressive averages of 18.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game during the 2023-24 season for the Tigers. Various outlets anticipate Hall being selected in the second round of the forthcoming draft.

Jon Blau confirmed on X that Hall has enlisted the services of an agent, solidifying his decision and precluding any possibility of returning to the team. Clemson is still awaiting final confirmation from Chase Hunter regarding his future. Hunter is exploring opportunities in the NBA but retains the option to return to the team.

In a surprising move, Clemson Women’s Basketball has secured another transfer, despite earlier indications that Shawn Poppie had completed roster additions. Raven Thompson, a junior hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, has committed to the Tigers. Previously under Poppie’s guidance at UT Chattanooga, Thompson earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors as a sophomore. With Thompson’s inclusion, the roster now stands at 14 players.
