Louis William Tomlinson (born December 24, 1991) is an English singer, songwriter, and TV personality who rose to fame with One Direction after his appearance on The X Factor in 2010. Originally eliminated as a solo contestant, he was brought together with four others to form One Direction, a band that released five albums, embarked on four world tours, and achieved nearly 200 awards.
Tomlinson’s solo career took off in 2016 with “Just Hold On,” followed by hit tracks like “Back to You” with Bebe Rexha and “Miss You.” In 2018, he joined The X Factor as a judge, becoming the first former contestant to mentor a winning act. He released his debut album, Walls, in 2020, solidifying his place as a talented solo artist.
