Several of the most intriguing free agent role players this summer happen to be on the Philadelphia 76ers roster. Players like Kelly Oubre Jr. and Buddy Hield are among them. However, Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey is unlikely to build the same supporting cast around All-Star cornerstones Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.

Regardless of whether Morey adds another star to the team, he’ll be focused on acquiring the right role players. Here are eight external options that could fit well with the Sixers:

1. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Caldwell-Pope brings championship experience and a reputation as a durable, veteran wing player. His strong defense has been valuable to teams like the Denver Nuggets, and he’s maintained a solid three-point shooting percentage of 40.6% over the past four seasons.

Reports suggest Caldwell-Pope is expected to decline his $15.4 million player option, attracting significant interest in the market.
