Sneed has good reason to be a well-liked free agent.
One of the most significant narratives for Chiefs Kingdom throughout the offseason is the approaching free agency of L’Jarius Sneed. One of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, Brett Veach has stated that keeping him on the team is his top goal.
However, Kansas City isn’t the only organization interested in hiring Sneed. Three of Sneed’s former college teammates are reportedly trying to persuade him to join them with the Eagles, as Philadelphia needs a revamp in their secondary.

It seems sense that Sneed would prefer to be in Philadelphia with his former colleagues. The Eagles finished the regular season with an opponent yards per play (6.7) ranking of 19, but they ultimately collapsed and were eliminated early from the playoffs. Given Howie Roseman’s presumably ardent desire to strengthen the defense, Sneed seems like a reasonable target.
This year, opposing quarterbacks’ passer ratings against Sneed were only 56.2. He is expected to earn a large salary and is considered the top free agent choice for Philadelphia.
