There’s a growing buzz suggesting that Mooney could potentially have a strong resurgence in 2024 at a reasonable price, with multiple sources indicating Kansas City as a potential destination.

Spotrac.com predicts Mooney could command a four-year contract worth $41.98 million. Should the 26-year-old be open to accepting a discounted offer to play alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes, it’s possible that Veach could negotiate a deal.

Commentators such as Brendan Sugrue from the Bears Wire and Connor Christopherson from Arrowhead Report have also weighed in on Mooney’s potential move.
