It has been almost ten years since the Green Bay Packers released him. According to John Brice of FootballScoop.com, former NFL wide receiver Myles White will be returning to Lambeau Field as a member of the coaching staff of his previous team:

White, who most recently served as wide receivers coach and coordinator of the passing game for Chuck Martin’s Miami (Ohio) team, is going to be an offensive assistant for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.

An Ex-WR for the Green Bay Packers Returns

In the 2013 NFL season, White was a member of the Green Bay Packers. He participated in seven games and had 66 receiving yards on nine grabs and twelve targets, with zero touchdowns. In April 2013, he signed a $1.48 million, three-year contract with the Packers, however he was cut after a year. Although he returned to the Packers in 2015 as a reserve, he never played for the team again. He signed with the New York Giants that same year, and during his 12 games there, he caught seven passes on 20 targets for 88 receiving yards and a score.

White, who played college football for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, may have a bright career in the NFL even though he will not be receiving a significant coaching position with the Green Bay Packers.

White coached wide receivers for the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks before to joining the Packers.
