Rodrigo Muniz and Andreas Pereira have reportedly caught the attention of Brazil’s national team manager, Dorival Junior.

Brazil manager Dorival Junior is reportedly considering calling up Fulham duo Rodrigo Muniz and Andreas Pereira for the national team. Junior is set to announce his squad next week for friendly matches against England and Spain.

During the past two weeks, Junior has been scouting potential call-ups playing in Europe. Unfortunately, Neymar, Alisson Becker, Matheus Cunha, and Joao Pedro will all miss out due to injury.

Junior visited Fulham’s training ground at Motspur Park to observe training and hold meetings with Muniz and Pereira. Both players have been preparing for Fulham’s upcoming match against Manchester United.

Muniz, aged 22, has been in excellent form, scoring four goals in his last three league games for Fulham. Pereira, aged 28, has previously represented Belgium at youth levels but rejected the opportunity to play for them, earning his only senior Brazil cap in 2018.

Fulham manager Marco Silva praised Muniz for stepping up in the absence of Raul Jimenez and showing his quality. Silva also provided updates on the team’s injury situation, mentioning that Willian’s availability is still being assessed, while Armando Broja was unavailable for the previous game due to illness but is now recovering.
