On Tuesday, the forward joined Roo, Ditts, and Loz of Triple M Adelaide.

A former Port Adelaide captain may have caught the attention of onlookers on Saturday afternoon at Richmond Oval by donning an intriguing headpiece.

As the March sun shone down on recently retired Power captain Tom Jonas, who worked as a boundary rider for Triple M, he realized he needed a hat.

Let’s introduce Taylor Walker.

The forward for the Crows discussed his conversation with Jonas and his actions to assist in an interview with Roo, Ditts, and Loz on Triple M Adelaide Breakfast.

“You have to be sun smart on these hot days during pre-season games, so I went outside to take a quick peek at the Richmond Oval deck with my Crows hat on,” Walker remarked.

“One of Triple M’s very own, Tommy Jonas, who is also one of Port Adelaide’s very own, approached me while I was out there, sporting a somewhat red forehead, and mentioned that he wished he had brought a hat.

“I thought I’d offer up my Crows hat out of the goodness of my heart, and you can probably figure out the rest of the story.”

Walker and his Adelaide teammates defeated West Coast by 67 points on Saturday afternoon at Richmond Oval after a strong performance.

When he looked back on the game, he noted that two young midfielders caught his attention.

Walker remarked, “The young boys, Sam Berry and Jake Soligo, were very good for us on the weekend.”

“They both performed flawlessly and will be strong contenders for a spot in the side against Gold Coast after having excellent preseasons.”
