Manchester City faces their most crucial and potentially challenging task of the season as they host West Ham at the Etihad Stadium. A win for the Blues would ensure the Premier League title remains in Manchester, while a draw or loss would create an opportunity for Arsenal to snatch the title.

Despite West Ham securing a 9th place finish for the season, City must remain vigilant against complacency come Sunday’s match. Memories of Aston Villa taking a 2-0 lead at the Etihad two years ago still linger, although City eventually rallied to win. However, fans are hoping for a smoother performance this time around, as any misstep could likely result in conceding the title to Mikel Arteta’s team.

In terms of form, West Ham secured their 9th place finish by defeating Luton Town 3-1 in their last match, ending a six-game winless streak. On the road, they’ve won seven and lost nine out of 28 matches away from the London Stadium. They’ve conceded five goals away from home on three occasions and have the third-worst away defense in the league, having conceded a total of 43 goals. They haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home this year and their last clean sheet was back in December. Despite this, they’ve shown their attacking prowess by failing to score only four times away from home, with 28 goals scored in total.
