Stephen Crichton will face his former team for the first time as the Canterbury Bulldogs travel to take on the Penrith Panthers in the second match of Round 10. The game is scheduled to start at 6pm (AEST) on Friday, May 10, at BlueBet Stadium in Penrith.

Despite facing some challenges like off-season departures and injuries, the Panthers, who have won the premiership for the past three years, have had a strong start to the season with six wins out of eight matches. They are considered heavy favorites for this Friday’s clash, but the Bulldogs, who have won three out of their last four matches, are eager to continue their climb up the ladder towards the top eight.

The Bulldogs have seen improvements, partly due to their extensive off-season recruitment efforts. However, facing a formidable opponent like the Panthers will be a significant test, especially for Stephen Crichton, who played a key role in the Bulldogs’ recruitment drive and now has the opportunity to face his former team.

In a positive development for the Panthers, Nathan Cleary has returned from injury, although Izack Tago will not be playing.

The match between the Penrith Panthers and Canterbury Bulldogs in Round 10 will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports. The coverage will begin on Fox League – Channel 502 – at 5pm (AEDT) with an hour-long pre-game show, and it will conclude immediately after the game, leading into the second match of Friday night featuring the Parramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos.
