UPDATE: An overview of Wisconsin football’s coaching staff for the 2024 season

This offseason, there has been an unexpectedly high level of coaching turnover inside the Wisconsin football program.

It’s not like Luke Fickell’s squad was contending for a national championship and all of his assistants were getting promoted. With multiple assistants making lateral moves to different schools, this transition seemed different.

Coaches of wide receivers Mike Brown and safety Colin Hitschler went laterally to Alabama, and offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. was moved to an off-field duty, however it seems that his move was motivated by performance.

Hitschler and Brown are big losses, particularly in terms of recruiting. In order to avoid causing concern. The fact that two of the most crucial aides have shifted laterally to different positions is plain unexpected.
