The wide receiver for the Eagles called on 94WIP to talk about offseason rumors, his friendship with Jalen Hurts, and how he feels misinterpreted, especially when people make comparisons to T.O.
With an injury keeping him out of the team’s playoff game against the Bucs, A.J. Brown was understandably emotional and frustrated towards the end of the Eagles’ disastrous 2023 season. The wide receiver was also unable to change the narrative going into the offseason. Regarding Brown’s future with the Eagles, several have conjectured.

In a Friday phone call to 94WIP, the wide receiver finally provided answers to several queries from Philadelphia supporters.

Brown was questioned straight away about his feelings toward sticking with the Eagles:

People sometimes assume that when he displays passionate outbursts on the sidelines, it’s because he wants to receive more touches, but in reality, it’s because he wants to keep his teammates accountable. According to Brown, he encourages everyone to be the best versions of themselves.

“I’m the team player you need because I’m not afraid to keep individuals accountable and improve those around me.

However, no one notices that. You just witness the minor outbursts and such. It’s true that I put in more effort than everyone else in that building, which is why you see the flare-ups. There is no one in that building who prepares more than I do. I can assert that and abide by it.

Brown stated again that he doesn’t feel understood, even though he doesn’t want to.
