After the Badgers lost relations with a former 2024 Wisconsin football commit, the player decided to sign with another Big Ten team on National Signing Day.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s three-star safety Kahmir Prescott stated he would sign with the Nebraska Cornhuskers despite rumors that he had scholarship offers from Penn State, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Boston College, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Colorado, and other conferences.

Prescott, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound player, is ranked No. 726 in the 2024 cycle, No. 73 among safety nationwide, and No. 19 in Pennsylvania, per the aggregate rankings.

It was a “mutual parting” when Kahmir Prescott and the Wisconsin football team parted ways in December, with the Badgers coaching staff choosing to pursue a new path with the three-star prospect.

Prescott had 35 tackles, six pass deflections, four interceptions, 3.0 TFLs, and a sack in his junior year at Neumann Goretti High School.

Prescott was given the freedom to look into the greatest possible landing site for his future before to National Signing Day in February, and he has already discovered it thanks to their choice to release him loose. Regretfully, the adaptable safety chose a Big Ten scheme.

In putting together a historic recruiting class for 2024, Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football coaches performed admirably. The Badgers secured the coveted 50% blue-chip ratio for the first time in school history.

All parties should benefit from this, hopefully, with the exception of the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Wisconsin Badgers game.
