A day following the game between the Knicks and Nets in Brooklyn across the East River, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges were at Madison Square Garden to watch Villanova play St. John’s.

For two seasons, all three of them were teammates at the school; in 2017–18, Brunson and Bridges continued their partnership for a third season.

The Johnnies won 70–50 at MSG on Wednesday night, and Brunson and Bridges were seen sitting next to one other on the floor.

Hart was watching the play from a different portion of the court.

One day after the Knicks defeated the Nets and transformed Barclays Center into MSG SouthEast, the former Wildcats were spotted.

Blue-and-orange-clad fans took over the Brooklyn venue, and “Let’s go Knicks” chants roared throughout the arena.

Bridges bemoaned the fact that the game essentially turned into a Knicks home game.

“You could hear in the crowd, felt like a friggin’ away game when they made their run,” Bridges said.

Bridges continued, “It’s not fun for anyone in here to feel like they’re playing an away game at home. “Therefore, that applies to everyone seated here, living or dead.”

Hart messaged Bridges on social media after reading enough remarks.

“Hey, buddy, @mikal_bridges give me a call,” Hart posted on X, quoting Bridges’ post-loss remarks.

The Knicks and Nets rivalry appeared to be put on pause for one night, but the three would have preferred to see the Wildcats leave MSG on Wednesday with a victory.
