Dion Anderson returned to training ten days ago after missing Blues’ 1-2 away triumph over Stoke City last month due to an ankle ailment.

He did not play in either of the team’s victories over Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland or their losses to Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, and Sheffield Wednesday. However, he will be available for the trip to Portman Road on Saturday, February 24, at 3 p.m.

Venus, at the Birmingham City Elite Performance and Innovation Centre, revealed to BluesTV that the captain of the Men’s First Team will be open for selection.

“He’s trained for about the last 10 days so he will be available for the squad and it’s another good player that we have got available for selection.

“It’s a problem, but it’s a nice problem really when you have got 24 players you can pick from and you can only have 18 outfield players.
