UPDATE: Red Raider Recruiting Six-Pack

Welcome back to The Recruiting Six Pack for this week. The class of 2025 is currently open, having passed National Signing Day. Texas Tech Red Raiders placed first in the Big 12 and twenty-fourth in the country after everything was said and done. The staff, general manager James Blanchard, and head coach Joey McGuire are now concentrating on 2025 and beyond. Let’s now examine a few of the most recent Red Raider recruiting targets.

2025 Red Raider targets

Daeshon Morgan. 2025 strongside defensive end, Austin, Texas. (Vandegrift HS).
On February 8, the Red Raiders extended an offer to defensive end Daeshon Morgan of Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, 2025. “Everything is moving forward smoothly. I feel like my hard work is finally paying off, and it’s all a blessing from the Lord. That encourages me to put in more effort. Being in Texas and nearer to family, receiving an offer from Tech was a big blessing, Morgan said. UTEP, UTSA, California, North Texas, Arizona State, Arkansas State, and UTEP have all extended offers to him. On his MaxPreps page, he lists his final 2023 Vipers game totals as follows: 34 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks. Consequently, Morgan was selected to the District 25-6A First Team All-District.
Jasper Parker. 2025 running back, Marrero, Louisiana. (Archbishop Shaw HS).

On January 24, Texas Tech offered running back Jasper Parker of 2025 Marrero (LA) Archbishop Shaw High School. Auburn has extended an offer to him. Arkansas, Arkansas State, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Penn State, SMU, Texas A&M, Tulane, and USC have also extended offers to Parker.

2026 Red Raider targets

Noah Best. 2026 offensive guard, Midlothian, Texas. (Midlothian HS).

On January 25, Noah Best, an offensive lineman from 2026 Midlothian (TX) High School, was offered by the Red Raiders. The offensive lineman, who was selected unanimously to the Panthers’ District 4-5A DI First Team All-District team in 2023, received his first offer.

Tiesen Ejiawoko. 2026 weakside defensive end, Georgetown, Texas. (East View HS). 

On January 31, Texas Tech extended an offer to Tiesen Ejiawoko, a 2026 Georgetown (TX) East View High School weakside defensive end. I inquired about his feelings about getting an offer from the Red Raiders. “If I had to sum up receiving the Texas Tech offer, I would say that it meant a lot coming from the head coach. He stated, “I’ll always be thankful and appreciative to Coach McGuire for believing in me and giving me a chance. Ejiawoko has visited Arizona and Texas and has offers from Bethune-Cookman, Connecticut, Houston, UNLV, and Washington State. The District 11-5A Newcomer of the Year award was given to him.

Bott Mulitalo II. 2026 strongside defensive end, Highland, Utah. (Lone Peak HS). 
Bott Mulitalo II, a 2026 Highland (UT) Lone Peak High School strongside defensive end, was recruited by Texas Tech. He just added a UNLV offer. Additionally, Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Iowa State, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Washington State have extended offers to Mulitalo II. According to his MaxPreps page, he concluded 2023 with 34 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, three quarterback pressures, and a pass deflected for the Knights in six games.
Nelson Peterson Jr. 2026 dual-threat quarterback, Sunnyvale, Texas. (Sunnyvale HS).
On February 8, 2026 Sunnyvale (TX) High School quarterback Nelson Peterson Jr. received his first offer from the Red Raiders. I questioned him regarding the offer and the hiring procedure. “The recruiting process is going well for me so far, and I’m excited and blessed to be offered by Texas Tech,” Peterson stated. According to his MaxPreps page, he finished with 1,167 yards throwing and 15 touchdowns in 12 games for the Raiders in 2023. He also added 648 rushing yards and 10 more on the ground. Peterson is a basketball player for the Raiders as well.

2027 Red Raider targets

Jakoby Dixon. 2027 running back, Brenham, Texas. (Brenham HS).
On February 1, the Texas Tech Red Raiders extended an offer to 2027 Brenham (TX) High School running back Jakoby Dixon. I questioned him about his recruitment process and the significance of getting an offer from Texas Tech for him. “This hiring procedure is outstanding. I consider myself quite fortunate and grateful for the Tech offer, as it was always my ideal university,” he remarked. In addition, Dixon has offers from UTSA, Houston, SMU, Texas State, Tulsa, Arkansas State, and SMU. According to his MaxPreps page, he concluded 2023 with 1181 yards of rushing and 14 touchdowns, 34 receptions for 502 yards, and five scores in 11 games for the Cubs.

Semaj Stanford. 2027 athlete, Jenks, Oklahoma. (Jenks HS). Not ranked by Rivals.

On February 1, Texas Tech extended an offer to 2027 Jenks (OK) High School athlete Semaj Stanford. It was his most recent offer; he also has ones from Tulsa, Houston, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, and Oklahoma State. Stanford assisted in guiding the Trojans to the state title game of Oklahoma 6A-1.
