Brad Fitzgibbon, a three-star recruit out of Illinois, is ranked very highly by the Wisconsin Badgers, who are hoping to make waves along the defensive line in the Class of 2025.

Size 6’4 and 280 pounds, Fitzgibbon is a student at Chicago, Illinois’ Marist High School. Last weekend, he visited Wisconsin for Junior Day.

With sixteen offers in his possession, Fitzgibbon received his first Big Ten offer on January 26 from Wisconsin.

Fitzgibbon spoke highly of head coach Luke Fickell and his staff after his visit, sharing his experience with Bucky’s 5th Quarter.

“Wisconsin was awesome,” Fitzgibbon said. “I love what Coach Fickell and his staff are building and the energy they bring makes you want to be a part of it. Madtown knows how to do it!”

The high point of his visit, according to a source, was getting to know Fickell and defensive line coach Greg Scruggs, who is now anticipated to depart Wisconsin and take up the same position at Michigan.

Fitzgibbon disclosed that the Badgers, who selected three defensive lineman in 2024—four-stars Ernest Willor and Dillan Johnson, as well as three-star Hank Weber—are hoping to select about four defensive linemen in their 2025 class.

Where is Wisconsin seen among Fitzgibbon’s list of offers?

“High,” he said. “High on my list.”

The defensive lineman is in the midst of scheduling future visits, so he doesn’t have a firm commitment date, but he plans to return to Wisconsin in the spring.
