Cameron Indoor Stadium is undergoing renovations ahead of the 2024-25 Duke basketball season. Daktronics, in collaboration with EwingCole architecture, has partnered with Duke to install a new videoboard, enhancing the game-day experience for Blue Devils fans with dynamic videos and statistics.

As Jon Scheyer enters his third season as head coach, Duke is poised to contend for a national championship, featuring returning players Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster, along with a highly touted six-player recruiting class led by Cooper Flagg. Additionally, Duke has strengthened its roster with transfers Maliq Brown from Syracuse and Mason Gillis from Purdue.

The new three-display centerhung configuration at Cameron Indoor Stadium will provide fans throughout the arena with replays and live statistics, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Corey Williams, Daktronics sales representative, expressed pride in contributing to this project and emphasized the company’s longstanding partnership with Duke.

The main video display measures approximately 11.5 feet high by 59 feet around, with a lower ring measuring 2.5 feet high by 52.5 feet around. An underbelly ring display, catering to fans closer to the court, measures 2.5 feet high by 39.5 feet around. This new centerhung system boasts 900 square feet of digital canvas, more than double the previous size, and features improved resolution with approximately 5.5 million pixels.

In addition to the upgraded videoboard, Cameron Indoor Stadium will feature four new corner ribbon displays, two LED scorers tables, and 11 press table displays along the sides of Coach K Court. These enhancements will provide extra statistics, graphics, and sponsorship opportunities for brand recognition during events.
