After Leeds United defeated Hull City 3-1, winger Willy Gnonto posed for a photo with a supporter and revealed when he will return to first team play.

The Italian international has been absent from Leeds’ past two games, but he may make an appearance at the Whites’ upcoming Saturday, April 6 match against Coventry City.

After the game, NotLuca, a Leeds supporter, shared a picture of himself with Gnonto, who has seven goals in 30 Championship games for the Whites this year, on X, writing, “My mate.” stated that he ought to return on Saturday.

After the blow while on international duty, it was suggested that the winger may miss up to three weeks of action, but things may have altered.

Daniel Farke welcomes Gnonto’s homecoming, but
Considering the incredible form Gnonto has displayed during the lengthy unbeaten streak, Leeds supporters are thrilled about the possibility of him returning as early as the sixth-final game of the season.

The Italian has scored the game-winning goal at Bristol City, two braces at Swansea, and the first goal in pivotal wins over Plymouth and Millwall since the beginning of February, propelling Leeds to second place in the Championship with the final stretch of the season quickly approaching.

Due to Gnonto’s injury, Welsh winger Dan James was able to take back his starting position on the right side. In Leeds’ 3-1 victory over Hull, James scored a goal from the halfway line to bring his total goal total to 13.

But if Gnonto continues to have the same impact as he did a month ago, Leeds manager Farke will have an abundance of options when it comes to free-scoring wide players.
