In 2022, the former forward for Real Madrid and Manchester United relocated to Saudi Arabia.

The first of several well-known figures to visit Saudi Arabia was Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar who has shared his thoughts about his future there.

After his second exit from Manchester United at the end of 2022, the 39-year-old joined Al Nassr.

After an intense interview with Piers Morgan in which Ronaldo criticized numerous parts of United, he left Old Trafford, and the two parties mutually ended his contract.

After that, Ronaldo signed a contract with Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League, with whom he would remain until 2025.

Ronaldo has continued to do what he has done well throughout his career at Al Nassr: score goals in plenty.

Ronaldo has scored 42 goals in 50 games for the Saudi Pro League team, and in only this season, the Portugal international has scored 28 goals in 31 appearances.

Despite the fact that Ronaldo will turn 40 years old in a year, he is still going strong physically. Despite being the most capped player in history and the top goalscorer for his country, he continues to lead Portugal as captain on the international front.

Cristiano Ronaldo's deal with Al Nassr runs until 2025. (

Ronaldo has just over a year left on his term before he is set to become a free agent once more. His contract with the Saudi Pro League team expires in the summer of 2025.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, however, seems content in the Middle Eastern country, saying that they still have a lot of work ahead of them with their Al Nassr teammates.

Ronaldo reportedly stated, “I am happy to be in Saudi Arabia, absolutely happy,” according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

“I’m happy to represent Al Nassr and for me our season is positive because we have had a chance until now in all tournaments.”
