Max Domi puts Brad Marchand in his place right in front of refs.

Second Generation Maple Leaf Max Domi has been endearing himself to fans all season. His latest jolt to Brad Marchand has fans loving him even more.

The pair of Domi and Marchand got tangled up early in Game 6 during a stoppage in play. Marchand appeared to be complaining to the referees when he was shoved by Domi. It doesn’t appear to be much, with Marchand selling it trying to get a call. The Bruins captain wouldn’t get what he wanted, and instead, he was left looking foolish.

In the absence of superstar Auston Matthews in Game 5, Domi was moved to the middle on a line with Tyler Bertuzzi and Mitch Marner. The trio have played well generating a goal in Game 5.

The 29-year-old, signed a one-year, $3M deal in the summer, getting to live a lifelong dream of playing for the same team that his father Tie once did. Domi produced 9 goals and 47 points in 80 games during the regular season. He has continued to produce for Toronto in the post season with 1 goal and 4 points in 5 games.

No matter how things go during the Leafs run, Domi is one player that should be re-signed. He loves being a Leaf, which should make things easier for general manager Brad Treliving to work out a deal.
