DON’T MISS: Letter from Hawthorn president Andy Gowers.
Hello Hawks faithful,
As we gear up for our AFL Finals campaign this Friday night, I’m thrilled to share a crucial off-field initiative in our club’s proud history.
Next year, we’ll be moving to our new home in Dingley—the Kennedy Community Centre. I visited the site recently and witnessed firsthand how this world-class facility will transform our football club.
With elite amenities for both our AFL and AFLW programs, it will also serve as a hub for the entire Hawthorn family—our past players, officials, members, fans, and the wider community.
Creating a high-performance environment is vital as we pursue future premierships. Access to state-of-the-art technology, cutting-edge equipment, and recovery resources will be crucial for our players to achieve ultimate success.
Today, I’m reaching out for your support to help us lift more cups.
We need the Hawks family to unite as we embark on a journey to raise $5 million before we move to the Kennedy Community Centre next year. As our theme song says, “one for all, and all for one”—this will take all of us. Every contribution, big or small, will help us in our quest for more flags.
These funds will ensure our new facility has everything our players need to stay at the forefront of the league.
As our players continue to demonstrate, our next premiership could be just around the corner. Reaching our $5 million target is essential for positioning them for success, and beyond.
This is an incredibly exciting time in Hawthorn’s history, and I’m confident that the brown and gold faithful will stand with us every step of the way as we embark on this bold mission.
Let’s fly together!
Go Hawks!
