Following their loss to the Penrith Panthers in the 2024 NRL Grand Final, the Melbourne Storm have confirmed the departure of nine players.

The Melbourne Storm have made significant roster changes ahead of the 2025 NRL season, saying goodbye to six players: Ammaron Gudgeon, Chris Lewis, Cole Geyer, Tepai Moeroa, Tristan Powell, and Young Tonumaipea. This follows earlier departures, including Justin Olam, Aaron Pene, and Reimis Smith.

In a notable move, the club has signed Stefano Utoikamanu from the Wests Tigers on a three-year deal, running through to the end of the 2027 season. Despite the departures, Dean Ieremia, Ativalu Lisati, and Marion Seve have not yet been confirmed as leaving, leaving six roster spots open for the upcoming season.
