Collingwood has their sights set on Jake Stringer, the star of Essendon, as they attempt to rebuild after missing the finals. Cal Twomey of AFL Media reports that Stringer has allegedly told individuals that this was his final game with the Bombers. Collingwood is also interested in Ben Hobbs, a teammate who has lost favor at Essendon.

With Nathan Murphy retiring before the season, the Pies are in need of defensive reinforcements. Mark Keane of Adelaide was a target, but he just agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Crows.

Melbourne’s Adam Tomlinson may be taken into consideration by Collingwood to strengthen their defense, particularly as seasoned defender Jeremy Howe ages. In the meantime, there is still a defense void that needs to be filled in light of John Noble’s surprising trade request to Gold Coast.

According to reports, Port Adelaide is making a four-year offer to small forward Joe Richards, while tall forward Nathan Kreuger may look for other chances to play for the senior team more frequently. The futures of midfielders Reef McInnes and Finlay Macrae at the club are in doubt since they have had difficulty earning spots in Craig McRae’s lineup. Collingwood has also been associated with Dan Houston of Power, Tom Lynch of Richmond, Tim Membrey of St. Kilda, and James Peatling of GWS; nevertheless, they will have difficulties this season because of their restricted draft capital.
