Colorado football, led by Deion Sanders, is undergoing another offseason staff reshuffle as two key assistants, Phil Loadholt and Vincent Dancy, prepare to leave for Mississippi State. Loadholt, Colorado’s offensive line coach, was instrumental in improving the Buffaloes’ protection schemes. Joining Sanders’ staff last offseason, he helped reduce sacks by 17 compared to 2023, bolstering quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ performance. A former NFL tackle with the Minnesota Vikings, Loadholt’s professional experience was pivotal to Colorado’s offensive improvement. His strong relationship with new Mississippi State head coach Jeff Lebby, built through prior stints at UCF, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma, factored heavily into his move to Starkville.

Dancy, initially brought on as a defensive quality control analyst, was quickly promoted to defensive ends coach.
