Josh McDaniels was fired after leading the Las Vegas Raiders to a 3-5 start the previous season. Antonio Pierce took over temporarily as a result, and he guided the squad to a 5–4 victory. Pierce earned the position on a full-time basis thanks to his late-season momentum. However, the Raiders are 2-7 going into Week 10 of the NFL schedule this year, and Coach Pierce’s job is in hot water. We already heard from a number of Raiders who fought for Coach Piece, but it seems like things are shifting in Vegas.

Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders hold team meeting after Week 10 loss

Las Vegas Raiders

Expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders this season were already low because they were unable to locate a stronger quarterback after moving on from Jimmy Garoppolo. However, regardless of the external opinion, it is difficult to lose five straight games. Anger grows as the losses pile up. Weeks ago, when they traded Davante Adams to the Jets, Las Vegas began to raise the white flag. Even if it could be the smartest course of action going forward, the Raiders who were unable to leave Vegas are still working hard to win. Maxx Crosby and others expressed their worries in a team meeting as part of their recent attempt to alter the Raiders’ destiny.

One source even went so far as to say the meeting ended “uncomfortably for all parties.”

While we may not know what was said, it’s clear that everyone involved with the 2024 Raiders are tired of losing on gameday.
