Blake Corum, a rookie running back for the Los Angeles Rams, will miss the postseason after breaking his right forearm in Sunday’s 30–25 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

During the second half of the competition, Corum was seen with a sling on his arm.

“He broke his forearm, he fractured his forearm, so unfortunately,” Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters. “He’s a tough, resilient guy. He’s gonna be a really good player for us for a long time, but he will miss the postseason.”

Before leaving, Corum caught one pass for 12 yards and carried twice for 10 yards.

Among the Rams who did not play on Sunday was starting running back Kyren Williams (1,299 yards, 14 touchdowns on the ground).

This season, Corum, a third-round selection from Michigan, caught seven passes for 58 yards and ran for 207 yards.

On January 13, the fourth-seeded Rams (10-7) will host the Minnesota Vikings or Detroit Lions in an NFC wild-card match.
